Imagining a New Funding Framework for Energy Equity

To consolidate a year’s long effort to reimagine the Energy Efficiency for All (EEFA) program, JPB Foundation and the Movement Strategies Center engaged Common Spark to review documents, survey results, assessments, and new input from EEFA partners to design a possible next step for the program. This work culminated in an EEFAx (Energy Equity for All) concept that sought to meet the broadening and diverse formats that EEFA partners were organizing, collaborating, and advocating for healthy, resilient, and affordable homes. This included a prioritization of community groups as EEFAx partners, while ensuring technical support partners could still be deeply involved where needed.
