Convening a Diverse Group for the Joint Mission to Electrify Kitchens

Common Spark facilitated the Kitchen Electrification Group—a collaborative of advocates, manufacturers, local government, utilities, and chefs. The group’s synergistic goals included sharing resources and collaborating on projects to advance residential and commercial kitchen electrification. 

Through monthly meetings, listserv updates, and regular communication, Common Spark gathered the collaborative to host relevant presentations, updates, opportunities for joint projects, and pressing topics for discussion. The group leaned into considerations of equitable electrification for both residential and commercial customers. Through the nature of the space Common Spark created, organizations regularly supported one another in advocacy, legislative intervention, and media exposure.
